Before scheduling

Contact the clinic directly to confirm current services, clinician qualifications, appointment availability, eligibility, pricing and any insurance requirements. Treatment offerings and coverage can change. Do not assume that a listing means the clinic is accepting new patients.

Ask about your assessment, the monitoring required for your treatment, transportation home, medication instructions and follow-up care. Only a licensed clinician who has reviewed your health history can determine whether treatment is appropriate.

What patients say on Google

“My experience at Centerspace was incredibly positive. After attempting to work through my trauma through multiple forms of "traditional" therapy without success, I went looking for alternative treatments. After just four treatments with Centerspace, the relief I experienced was exponentially greater than any previous treatments. Their approach gave me the safe space and support I needed to finally improve my mental health.”

“Centerspace is such a wonderful place. The clinic is staffed with warm caring professionals. When I first went to see them I was feeling very vulnerable and lost, but they were very responsive to my calls and questions. The treatment space is so comfortable and soothing I often fall sleep toward the end of my treatment period. I am feeling so much better now and I owe it all to this clinic.”

“I scheduled a consultation for treatment and did meet with the doctor. I felt comfortable with their decision and felt they really had my best interests in mind. I was referred to meet with a therapist and have been going weekly. The therapist mentioned to me that starting treatment with Centerspace would be a good idea at this time. So I called to schedule a appointment. This time no one answered the phone so I left a voicemail with my name and information expecting a call back, a week later no call back so I called again with no answer again. 2nd message and a few days later still no call back. A few days again I called back and finally got to speak with a lady that told me they had no information for or about me, I’m assuming permission for treatment from my therapist. I was told that they left me a voicemail but I do not have any call on my logs or a voicemail. Well I spoke with the therapist and she is now confused as well. I called centerspace again with no answer and no response! I am now looking for other places to visit and very disappointed. I am having a very difficult time in life at the moment and reached out to them for help only to be ignored and left to feel more rejected and hopeless. Thanks for nothing Centerspace. It’s not hard to pickup a phone and have a conversation.”

“The facility is not modern. Previously, the MUSC HEALTH CENTERSPACE webpage used stock photographs purchased online and they def did not represent the old style furnishings and colors. There is also a lack of privacy and I did not feel the close therapeutic relationship that is necessary for the best outcome. I now receive Spravato from a psychiatrist office in Mt. Pleasant or Isle of Palms,”
