“I'm a new patient with Dr. Bowen and Charleston Ketamine Center. I rarely ever post reviews but I just felt led to post a review after my wonderful experience. Firstly, Dr. Richard Bowen is fantastic. He personally called me and took the time to explain the process in detail and answer all of my questions about the process and financial concerns. I have diagnosed TRD, CPTSD, and GAD. I have tried so many different forms of treatment including SSRIs, SNRIs, TMS, and ECT and all of which have not provided me with any lasting positive effect. I've only had one infusion so far so I obviously can't speak to the results just yet but even after my first infusion I felt the burden and heaviness decrease by even just a little so I'm actually hopeful for this treatment. And that's a major thing for me. To actually feel a sense of hope after dealing with severe symptoms for YEARS. The rest of the team is just as fantastic as Dr. Bowen! I was so nervous about my first infusion but everyone there made me feel so calm and prepared for the journey. The waiting room is beautiful and really starts your journey of peace and calmness that I appreciated as a new patient. I will update as I continue my treatments with this amazing team!”

“I almost gave up, but then I met Doc Bowen & tried Ketamine infusions. Words cannot explain how grateful I am for Ketamine therapy.... Doc Bowen was brave enough to be the Ketamine pioneer in the south east, and i have seen how effective this treatment is, first hand. I also must commend his nurse Ashley, she never misses! For anyone searching for relief from depression, I recommend Ketamine therapy wholeheartedly...and go for the infusions, they are so incredibly effective, it's worth every penny.”

“I heard about Charleston Ketamine Center through a close friend and became very interested in it after seeing her progress. I have been treated for PTSD depression and anxiety most of my life without really feeling any difference, until I met this team. The entire staff are comforting and knowledgeable. One of my biggest fears is an IV and they are so patient with me and the most skilled at administering and removing them that I’ve experienced in my life. The medicine itself is a lifesaver. Before ketamine I was catatonic and my depressive thoughts didn’t feel like mine. I find myself being less reactive to external situations and giving myself much more grace and love. Very grateful to Dr Bowen and his staff of angels.”

“PRO'S Life changing. That's all I can say. If you hurt all the time and have knife like or ice pick like stabs of pain, bursitis, arthritis, disc disintegration, bulging disc, pinched nerves or basically most hard core pain??? This can help. The doctor and staff are awesome. They know how you're hurting and their treatments work. I went from walking on a cane, no...shuffling on a cain to playing the piano in a wedding in a month. Seriously. Cons: cost. 1. It's a little hard on the pocket book but the relief allows me to work on other income streams where I couldn’t before. So, there's that. 2. Length of relief. My experience on my 1st infusion was amazing. I had a couple literally pain-free days yall. And lots of days where I was the old Rocky before the pain became life killing. I could do chores, walk, stretch, play the piano and MOVE. We must move to heal....for about a month, with the last week before my 2nd infusion being increasing difficult and lots of pain returned) BUT....thats My experience based on what I could afford. Hear this: If you get 3 or 4 of these infusions in a row you can look for a 3 month period of relief. Maybe more but at least that. So we're trying everything we can to raise enough to fund a 4 in a row treatment before beginning our slow travel Europe adventure in June. (I'd never be able to do this adventure were it not for these infusions.) Anyway...It's amazing relief after decades of suffering and hopefully the price will go down as it becomes more mainstream...or at least I hope so. If insurance covered it that'd be amazing but...not yet. Bottom line: Dr. Bowen and his family based staff are awesome. They care and it shows. That's my take. Be well yall. Much love Rocky”
