If you are in crisis

Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, 24 hours a day, or call 911 if you or someone else is in immediate danger. Do not wait for a clinic to call you back.

This is information, not advice

Ketamine Treatment South Carolina publishes educational information about ketamine infusion therapy and a directory of clinics that provide it. Nothing on this site is medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a professional referral. Reading this site does not create a doctor-patient relationship with us or with any clinic listed here.

Only a licensed clinician who has evaluated you can say whether Ketamine is appropriate for you, what protocol to use, and how it should fit with medication or therapy. Never stop, start or change a prescribed treatment based on something you read here.

Approved uses versus off-label uses

Ketamine is a medication approved by the FDA for anesthesia, not an FDA-cleared mental-health device. Its use for psychiatric conditions is off-label. Spravato is a different medication: nasal esketamine approved for specified adult depressive indications and administered in a certified healthcare setting. Approval does not apply automatically to ketamine infusions, compounded ketamine or other diagnoses. Discuss the evidence, alternatives and risks for your particular condition with a licensed physician. Coverage depends on your individual plan and is not guaranteed. See the FDA Spravato prescribing information and FDA warning about compounded ketamine.

Results vary

Published trial results describe groups of people, not individuals. No clinic can promise you a particular outcome. Ketamine and esketamine can cause sedation, dissociation, blood-pressure changes, respiratory depression and misuse or dependence; risks vary by formulation, dose and setting. Discuss your full medical and psychiatric history, medications, cardiovascular conditions, pregnancy and substance-use history with the treating clinician. Spravato requires monitoring for at least two hours; do not drive until the next day after restful sleep. Follow your clinician's instructions for other treatments. At-home or compounded products do not have the same supervision or approval as Spravato.

About our listings

Listing details are compiled from public sources, mapping data, and the clinics themselves. Insurance participation, availability, protocols, pricing and staffing change frequently. Verify everything directly with the clinic before booking or travelling. Inclusion in this directory is not an endorsement, a credential check, or a statement about quality of care. Exclusion means only that we have not verified the practice.

Editorial standards

We link to peer-reviewed studies, official prescribing information and provider-published sources. An editorial source check is not medical or legal review, and content may become outdated.
